Covered at last

My Captain America Submission to Rob Goodin's "Covered' blog was posted on Monday.
http://coveredblog.blogspot.com/2010/04/rob-englebright-covers-captain-america.html
Regular readers will know I've submitted covers before, but this is my first time actually getting published there.
The idea is simple, pick a comic cover, and redraw it in whatever style might work. I picked the Captain America cover, as it fitted into the whole Sepia wartime thing that was/is going on over at http://wychwolf.com
What's interesting is that my drawing style has changed a fair bit since I submitted it (20th April), probably just through practice, and I think I'd draw it very differently now.

I think the days when I could earn a living from illustration are way behind me, but I like to think I can still rattle off a fair scribble.

Webcomix thing March 2010, DONE

I've written up our experience of the UK Webcomix thing event over on the webcomic site: http://www.wychwolf.com
SO nip over there and have a read.
I'll also post the "interlude" I drew for the flyers on http://www.wychwolf.com probably tomorrow.

It was great fun, Dom and Adam are both talking about what we should do for next year.
I learned a couple of tips from artists whose work I admire, and it was a generally good day out.
I did take along the tablet PC, so I could practice with Manga Studio between visitors, but it misbehaved itself, and conked out crashing and losing the picture Dom was drawing... but he had another go, and created a sad Octobird.

Sepia seepage

Up to page 8 of the WychWolf pics, lots of lovely sepia and noise.
